NavalGaming is building a companion site for captains of Letters of Marque—a place to learn the game, share hard-won knowledge, and become a more capable commander.

How to Install the Game
Letters of Marque is distributed as a free Steam playtest. There is no public download yet—keys are handed out in the game’s official Discord.
- Join the Letters of Marque Discord.
- Check the #keys channel for the current key instructions.
- In #general, type
/claim. A claim window appears—click Claim. - When the pool selector pops up, choose Playtest (Letters of Marque).
- Send that message in chat. The reply is hidden from the rest of the server, and it contains your Steam key.
- Activate the key on Steam: Games → Activate a Product on Steam. A sign-in activation option also works. Then install Letters of Marque from your Steam Library.
